What happened to the 80:20 rule? Modify your QOTD thusly:
Success= 0.8(drudge + perseverance) + 0.2(talent + dumb luck)

Your science and method are beyond reproach, and to whatever degree they can be questioned, that task is left to sharper minds than mine. So, I will further factor your equation, without invalidating it, by observing that the “dumb luck” variable may be as small as zero, and your overall formula still holds.
