I logged a brief review at Active.com, and it looks like at least a couple of others agree…

Thanks so much to you and the other volunteers for organizing and operating such a great race.
I’ve only been running regularly for a few months, and this was the first race I’d run since the Peachtree 10K in 1982, so I definitely had a beginner’s perspective. I can encourage any others who might be sitting on the fence: you guys are a very friendly bunch, the course was very well-marked, and there was ample food and drink afterwards.
My only complaint is that my better half (Gina) didn’t run with us … she was worried about twisting an ankle just a week before Boston. Next year….
We had an interesting discussion about whether the race should be called a “bash” or a “blast”. I decided that neither word alone suffices, so I humbly submit the new word “bashblast”.

Once again, great race! If I only showed up on time, I wouldn’t have been out of breath right from the start! Love seeing and running with the Bimbler’s Sound crew! Thanks Jerry for directing a great race!
