Hill repeats on the pavement. My goal is 10. About an hour and half worth of pounding Sunset Hill. The start is 50 ft elevation and the top is 134′. So that is 85′ gain each side of the hill x 10. Remember the guarantee of the singing quads. Come join the chorus. Suds

10 full repeats of Sunset Hill was way too much to do today. In over 45 minutes I managed to do 4 full repeats. So I felt good after that and my quads sang a quiet tune. Thanks to Lefty and Shellygirl and Iggy. Next time I will do one or two more repeats I hope and maybe will eventually do 8-10 hill repeats on most Wednesdays evenings up till June.

That was great! I loooove a regular hill repeat “hump day” plan! There is also a nice measured mile work out around the lower loop there that is a nice option…. For me it was very good, I actually wore out the dog! Next time I will have to take her for a little while and park my car at the hill so she can rest while I finish. Did you hear me say ” wore out the dog!” Look out – come back is ON!!

Awesome Igs! You are back with a vengence and that is SO great!

Thanks Suds and Iggy we had a blast and both of you were looking awesome. Due to work I doubt I can make many of these but I certainly was glad to participate in at least one.

“Check my pulse, it don’t change. Stay seventy-two come shine or rain”… But what about hill repeats?
Sudsie is is suffering from those “them ol’ U.S. Blues” and will be busy arranging to pay the TaxMan tomorrow.
He has appointed me the temporary Keeper of the Hills. A few twists…
Start time 6PM from the school parking lot. 90 minutes (or less) (or more) for me. I promised Suds to work the downhills too. I plan to do loops Up, Over, and Around. Post-run recovery hydration/nutrition at Tommy’s.
