A great flat loop that can either take you along the shore on the sandy beach or a cinder track that runs parallel to it. On a wild windy day, nothing beats a lunch time bimble on the beach! Hammonasset Beach State Park is also the venue for a number of local races including the Thanksgiving Day Turkey Trot.
