Scoobie, Guthrie, Snobody, Gazelle and Vinca stepped up to the challenge of the Hammerfest Trathlon earlier today. Heavy dawn rain gave way to overcast skies and a nasty swell in the bay off Owebego that made the swim section particularly tough. The bike leg on slick wet roads wasn’t made any easier by some poor traffic marshaling that came close to causing several accidents. But our famous five all finished in fine form with Guthrie placing 5th overall female and Scoobie 3rd in her age group.
Gazelle smile through the entire course and as Allstate in heard to say, look fabulous throughout! Snobody finished the run looking strong and Vinca appeared to have a great time judging by the look on her face as she neared the finish.

Congrats to fellow Hammerfest competors!!!! It was a fun way to spend a wet morning.
And a big thanks to all the Bimbler’s and friends who showed up, took videos and pictures, and cheered all of us on. You guys are all great Athletic Supporters!!!!! 🙂
