Fairfield Half Marathon and 5K
At least three regulars from the BS took part in the Fairfield road races on June 22, 2008. Clark and silentRunner tackled the half marathon, while Hardware ran the 5k event. Full results can be viewed here, but in summary: Clark 1:42:39; silentRunner 1:55:08; Hardware 24:06.

Scoobie swims the Madison Mile
The warm sunshine might have seemed almost perfect running weather, and a mile might appear to be an easy distance to take on, but imagine attempting that in tidal waters after only 3 or 4 practice sea swims this summer.
