Done
We just returned from the closing banquet. Feels like the end of summer camp. The facts: after stage 1 we were 13th out of 23 teams and after 6 stages we finished 8th out of 21 teams in our division, including finishing 7th the last three stages. Got stronger every day, amazing what the body can do! More important than the facts is the experience. Impossible to put in words. Home tomorrow, tired, sore and proud!

When we finally got to Shadow Lake, we met up with Brian and Jay. When we saw mom, she was doing pretty darn good!! [Read more…] about 100 miles from an 11 year old
Burning River 100

Instead of waiting until the end to tell you how AMAZING my crew team and pacers were I am going to tell you this first. I would never have made it without them although they might protest. All I wanted to know each time I saw them was when do I see you again. That was as far ahead as I could think, and I never thought back. [Read more…] about Burning River 100
Vermont 100 – A Year and a Day
[singlepic=6499,280,200,,left]
The year and a day rule was a principle of English law holding that a death was conclusively presumed not to be murder (or any other homicide) if it occurred more than a year and one day since the act (or omission) that was alleged to have been its cause. The rule also applied to the offence of assisting with a suicide. [Read more…] about Vermont 100 – A Year and a Day
