Holiday Lake 50K++ Top 10
1. Holiday Lake, the first of the 6 races in the Beast that I signed up for …willingly! Yikes!
2. Holiday Lake, seeded 3rd female, what WAS Horton thinking? (I think I was 26th?).
3. Holiday Lake, with an extra few miles just for FUN… oh wait that sounds familiar, doesn’t it Mr. Bimble?
4. Holiday Lake with a course at times beautiful, at times monotonous (the treadmill paid off) and a perfect weather day.
5. Fantastic atmosphere and awesome volunteers!
6. Horton at his best!
7. Making a new friend!!
8. A long trip to Virginia with excellent company… thanks Forrest and Spuds… Oh Boy… 5 more times!
9. A long race after a short month or so of training amidst crazy weather and treadmill running unfortunately I did not realize quite how short.
10. A decent race I thought… but the opinion of at least 2 others was that I did not run fast enough… they might have been right?
