I have not always liked running. Growing up in the 1970’s I used to run with my Dad around our neighborhood. There was a circle near our house that by report was ¼ mile and we would run 6 circles or for 15 minutes that we counted off on a kitchen timer. New Bedford Half

I woke up early Sunday morning with that special feeling that race day will bring. Whether your passion is trails or roads there is always something special about race morning. The weather forecast during the week had predicted a beautiful day. After having worked seven days a week for the last five weeks the timing could not have been better. Bash Update
For those still sitting on the fence as to whether to sign up for the Bash, you may be interested to know that this year’s race shirt will be a wicking technical fabric not cotton. Don’t want to give away too much, but those wearing this years race shirt will definitely get noticed. Can’t say too much more – you’ll have to be there!

Mission Accomplished…
And after a while it seemed just that… a mission. I am told the going was much better this year, but after the first slippery climb came the SNOW! Drifts that were deep enough to go beyond my waist. I tried to remain in the steps of those in front of me but could not decide if sinking to my own depth was worse or better than stepping into their depth.
