The logo for this year’s Bimbler’s Bash which reflects the slogan “…at the end it isn’t over…” has been created by designer and fellow runner Cathi Bosco.
What is the inspiration for the slogan? I guess you can’t get enough of a good thing!
Perhaps a race length should be viewed as a minimum…. 10K is AT LEAST a 10K but could be more! A 50K is AT LEAST a 50K but could be more. It is the “minimum expectation”! Great work Iggy! I like it.
I was considering using my GPS during the race, to help me with pacing. I received some advice from a past participant suggesting I not do that. My question: if I do run with a Garmin, when it registers “10K”, will I see the finish line? will I hear the crowds? will I be in the same county as the finish line?

A riddle, perhaps?
How long is a 10K race?

Mr Bimble
Surely based upon that theory it is maximal expectation and that certified distance events have minimal expectation!

Doesn’t it look a little like Mr Bimble from the back….???

Dear Race Director:
I was considering using my GPS during the race, to help me with pacing. I received some advice from a past participant suggesting I not do that. My question: if I do run with a Garmin, when it registers “10K”, will I see the finish line? will I hear the crowds? will I be in the same county as the finish line?
Sincerely:
