Here is a chart…. LSP Club chart you can print this out and keep track with me.
After major surgery and all kinds of great health – no more excuses – I need to reclaim my waistline! So I am proposing a little club… let’s call it LSP Club.(unless some clever wordsmith can come up with something more”fitting”) It is free – it takes 33 days and it comes with a chart, hopefully some funny anecdotes and a trip to the pub afterwards for all who complete this mission.
We keep track of our routine with the chart. The plan is to do 3 sets of lunges, sit-ups and push-ups 3 times per day. Over the course of 33 days try to gradually increase the number of reps you do for each activity. I plan to start with just a few reps in each set because I can barely do push-ups for example. If this is confusing – I will describe a day 1.
morning: 3 sets of sit-ups with 15 reps each, 3 sets of push ups with 5 reps each, 3 sets of lunges with 15 reps each
daytime: repeat
night time: repeat
Of course you can do any kind of sit-ups or exercises you want to change things up for yourselves – but the goal is to get to the pub at the end of 33 days a bit stronger with a cool chart to share. OK if you want prizes- I will consult with Dr Von about that possibility so as to ignite your competitive streak!

We seem to have a good group starting out… remember the chart has 35 days – so if you want to jump in you can….
So far – I have Downhill, Scoobie, Booman, ShellyGirl – Lefty? hmmmmm – still time Lefty… still time, Snobody, Allstate, Suds – Suds i am still working on the computer – having some issues with drives once I clear the hard drive for you…, Loopy Girl is loving the lunges, even my Mom -FRH is doing this program – PS she will be in CT the 17th through the 26th to train….OJ? ….
Remember still time to start now – do your best, bring your chart for our night out a month from now.
If you have a 50K or M during this time … you know you still gotta do your best 🙂 ha ha … increase when you can and change up the variety of sit ups and push ups to avoid a strain…. WOOHOO – who else is IN?

Hey Bimblers – especially Forrest…
We got our electricity back last night post Irene so I am a little delayed in responding, sorry.
Here is the deal – I have been at this for 2 weeks and have been happy to see results manifesting. There are nearly 3 weeks officially left on the first round here & why not jump in NOW?!?! YOu will still reap a lot of the benefits!
You just build into it what works best for you. The goal is lots of reps for some strength building and toning.
This week has been rough with Irene so i admit I got two rounds/ rather that 3 most days this week… but I increased my reps significantly.
For example today I am doing the following…
Breakfast – 3 sets of 5 push-up reps (15 – I am so weak/heavy) 3 sets of 25 sit-up reps (75) 3 sets of 15 squats (45) – needing to alternate squats and lunges….
Lunch repeat
Dinner – do it again for the glory!!
(I am doing all sorts of varieties of sit ups too…. I fell behind a little bit this week but back on track for the triples again this week. Join in any time – you will be sore the first week – no doubt!

I’m back from vacation and time to get much more serious about LSPing. After scanning those posted chart pics I’m afraid my data blocks look pretty damn skimpy! Time to hunker down for the last few weeks!!!

How did everyone do? I need a full week or a little bit more to make up for the sessions I missed…. grab a weeks worth of LSP twice per day and lets get ready to empathize with the Grindstoners and the Wineglassers….

Sorry Iggy, I was too busy eating and drinking when it was time to LSP! Twice weekly, er, I mean twice daily would/could be more manageable.

Thanks for participating in this LSP experiment – I am continuing to incorporate some of the exercises. I think when we do this next time we shall do the reps twice per day – thrice was a bit much.
